I had a fabulous experience yesterday when I went shopping with my sister in Portsmouth. Top of the shopping list was a wedding outfit for my sister for a dear friend's wedding. Isabelle had booked the free services of a personal shopper at Debenhams Commercial Road, called Erin.

We were greeted with the offer of refreshments and taken into the personal shopper's changing area, with large dressing room and waiting area with comfy chairs. Erin firstly held a consultation with Isabelle to establish her needs for the outfit and then she disappeared into the store to collect a huge selection of dresses to try. Some were to my sister tastes, others she wouldn't have given a second glance too.

Firstly she tried the blue creation, one we would've walked past on the hanger and "BOY O BOY" it was amazing - the fit, the colour, it was perfect, my sister looked incredible stood there! Isabelle then worked through he selection trying on dress after dress with Erin's help and extreme good choice of outfits.

Finally the last option,again, one we would have both said no to and nearly didn't even try, well all I can say is WOW! My sister looked sensational! This was the dress! Erin, is not on commission or hired by a particular fashion house, just there to select on behalf of Debenhams. With no hard sale, and with honest opinions and having a degree in fashion and textiles, knows what she is doing!

All I can say is any Mother of the Bride or Groom, Aunt or Best Friend that wants that "special" outfit, go and have some fun with Erin, as I said there is no charge, no pressure to buy, just great service and an hour and a half's FUN! This is the way to shop!

It does not have to be for an occasion dress either, if you, as a bride, want an outfit for your hen or a wardrobe of shorts and tee's for your honeymoon, or just someone that wants a days fun shopping then give this a try!!! You have to book in advance but ITS AWESOME!
